Fear of closed spaces
Claustraphobia, can apear at any time, this patient had pancis and
fear at the very thought of traveling on the underground because
it was closed in and airless. After two sessions of hypnotherapy

......Guess what, I did it!! And with out any drugs! I was very
nervous the night before and the morning of the journey but I don't
think I was as bad as I usually am. I went on the first tube
(circle) without any trouble and then later went on the Victoria
line, at first I was a bit snappy because I had to go down two escalators
and a long tunnel but once I was on the tube I was fine. It
did get really packed at certain stops, where you couldn't really
move but I didn't panic I just got on with it. Then we went to Oxford
Circus which was hideously overly crowded but again I just felt
mildly agitated but no panic. I'm so pleased I did it because I
don't think I really believed it would work but it did! I'm going
to London again tomorrow so I'll see if I'm just as cool, calm and
